Looking for studio space in Atlanta!

It looks like I will be moving to Atlanta and setting up shop for a few years. My fiancée Tina’s job is most likely moving us there around the beginning of next year, as late as spring '10. When I have all details I will be certain to let you know them so we can keep in touch.

I am immediately concerned with looking for space for my studio in Atlanta. Do you have any connections there that I could ask about space for rent/barter? Either in a commercial studio, some rehearsal type space, or a wa… Continue

Ima be a rapper 4 life!

Well I had an interesting week writing some hiphop tracks for a local artist in Dayton - they wanted NWA/Public Enemy style tune. I made quite a few for em, not sure yet which ones are being used but this is my favorite one, the whole thing is built from my favorite symmetric diminished which made it fun for me

Its 3rd in my player now, called "Groove Attitude", hope you enjoy it hehehe ;-)

I need a glock and a blunt with this tune, maybe I could be NWA honorarium?

A few new pieces

Just added 4 things I have done recently, "Greek Cat Fight" and "Zin-ga-loh" I wrote for an avant garde theater group in Virginia/DC area. The Zin-ga-loh is actually me singing with pitch shift and chorus and whatnot so I sound like a group of African women haha, that was fun to do, the lyrics are all made up words that I wrote, funny funny! 'Greek Cat Fight' was named by Phil Kelly who heard it and said that it sounded like some greek women having a high strung knife fight lol - THANKS PHIL!

64 bits, GigaStudio 4, and my marbles

OK I got my first GS4 machine up and running in sexual 64 bits of hormonal rapture!

This was an upgrade from my most recent GS3 machine which had some issues with the MB which I think suffered from a brown out and I think I left off some of the very very important felt washers that go underneath the copper/brass screws w/ copper/brass washers on the MB. So I think I let it get some shorts... So I ended up replacing the MB and the video card - anyhow here is my machine:

Hi Chris;

I finally got over here - very cool sounds! The Gypsy Moon - I didn't want it to end. And very professional "curb appeal" to it all. Intimate Moment pt II made me think of Morricone, one of my favorites. Looks like you're a Sax guy, so check this out:

Yo Chris:

Here's an update on our mutual projects that have greatly benefitted from your programming expertise :

1. My new Origin CD "Ballet of the Bouncing Beagles" will be mastered on Sept 14. and is set for November release. The strings on "Grover" worked beautifully !

2. The Primo Kim Project is moving along slowly, but Primo says the final two orchestral things we worked on will be mixed Sept 4. ( "Love Dance " was mixed last month -it took a lot longer than Primo expected but was about par for the course
for an orchestral mix -6 hrs -but David Lange and I are very happy with the results.

When I get copies of all the stuff, I'll burn you a pre-release copy of all of it.

cheers from de north woods :)
