Hi, this is my first post in music dissection... I wrote this piece and two others about three years ago at university. The Unicorn was originally written as a contest piece for another composition website and had a really long ridiculous name, so I changed it to the name of a fantastic Iris Murdoch novel. - I am a music teacher working at a 14-19 college in Leicester and a bass player. I did a lot of composition at university but have had less time for it over the last 2/3 years, mostly thanks to teacher training stuff and arranging for school groups. I'm going back to basics at the minute, trying find my voice again...
