"Exactly! I actually wrote a slow moving melancholy piece on harp that directly follows this. Its beautiful and spacious but I haven't orchestrated it yet so I left it out. This definitely would benefit from some valleys to accompany the massive…"

"Wow, Note Performer looks cool! I multi track with midi in Logic which is an entirely different animal. I'm interested in writing a piece using the traditional scoring approach so I may try this software out. Perhaps it will result in a more…"

Jos Wylin replied to Sean Pollaro's discussion My first orchestral piece
"Very well done, Sean. The mix is somewhat 'special' and not classical at all, but it offers a very special effect to the musical content. The sound of the strings is really good. The flute is a little poor in the legato passage (near the…"

My name is Sean Pollaro. I am a life long music lover and writer.. ive never deeply studied music composition but I've always had a natural ability to hear and write moving music in many styles. I am a full time director, videographer and film editor and I have unfortunately for most of my life put my true passion, music on the back burner. Yes I have written music for money in the form of jingles, indie film scoring etc. but for the most part I have suppressed my gift and expressed my musical instincts through other mediums such as video and film.. My music has always been a very personal sensitive thing for me, perhaps because I'm scared of its power. Im joining this forum because my heart is screaming to bring my music out of the shadows and into the light. I have questions and just need helping hands to guide me on how to go about this.
