City in the Clouds - Fantasy'ish style

This piece started out with the sound of the woodwinds "chirping" in my head.  It was persistent and kept coming back, so I put the first few bars down and the first half fell into place.  I got…Continue

I wrote this piece after watching Money Ball and listening to the credit music.  I generally have a negative attitude toward overly repetitive music because it feels like a cheep way make a track…Continue

This is a piece I wrote a couple winters ago.  I was playing around with Sibelius 5 woodwind samples at the time, and this was the result.  Updated it to Sib7 sounds and (attempted to) re-balance the…Continue

This is one of two themes that I wrote for a pod cast that never made it to release.  I was apprehensive when I agreed to do it but excited at the same time.  The challenge of creating music for…Continue

About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
Back in the early 2000's I downloaded a demo of Sibelius, and that was how got involved in writing music. Though music is a passion for me, I never had any professional training. I've come a long way from where I started from, but still consider myself an amature.

I enjoy creating music and really want to share it with others, but putting it out there for people to listen too, and judge, is a scary thing for me. As a result, I haven't had much feedback on my work other than from family who are pre-programed to say it sounds good :)

I hope too learn and get better as a composer and perhaps, even though my experience and knowledge is limited, I may be able to provide insight and help others here as well.
