Timothy Smith replied to Moueen Issa's discussion Incomplete piano prelude
" I think this is slightly fast if you expect the orchestra to follow a motif based on it. The prelude puts a lot of energy right at the beginning which I think would be ok if you were anticipating this to be a highly charged piece all the way…"

Saul Gefen replied to Moueen Issa's discussion Incomplete piano prelude

Dane Aubrun replied to Moueen Issa's discussion Incomplete piano prelude
"Very Lisztian/Chopinesque.  If you intend it to be a traditional prelude then in my view it's as good as complete. Perhaps repeat the section that seems to start around 29 seconds and end it more robustly. Well done. Demonstrative,…"

Dane Aubrun replied to Moueen Issa's discussion A microtonal piano piece
"Yes, a likeable piece that unfortunately will probably have to stay in the digital arena - unless someone can invent a keyboard instrument that makes such playing feasible. Most attempts at 1/4-tone pianos seem to aim to keep the basic piano key…"

Ingo Lee replied to Moueen Issa's discussion A microtonal piano piece
"I do like it Moueen.  Sometimes it just sounds out of tune but much it has very nice detail. Perhaps it must have perpetual motion with very little vertical structure. Thanks for posting!"

Gav Brown replied to Moueen Issa's discussion A microtonal piano piece
"Hi Moueen, this has some appeal but sounds a bit robotic in tempo, I would suggest a little variation there. There is no ending to the piece, and it needs one. Thanks for posting! - Gav"
