"Hi, I really enjoyed this! I have to apologise for my lack of technical knowledge - I have a rather limited background in music(grade 6 piano and not a lot else!) but I feel happy just listening to this. Well done. I really like your style!"

Hey everyone, I became a member of this site quite a while ago, but failed to find time to make much impact on it, so i'm hoping to rectify that now that it's a new year! Anyway, It said that this was a part of the forum to add your music and have other people critique it, therefore I've put a link to a composition on Soundcloud that I made a couple of days ago.    OR…See More

About Me (MUST be more than 10 words to be approved):
My name is Michael, I'm from Brighton, England.

I have a music production degree, although have spent the past year travelling and as of yet not put anything i've learnt to good use.

I have a passionate interest in the art of composing music to interact with visual media. (I have uploaded a selection of short clips of various forms that I have scored some music to, to my Vimeo account). & have some other videos with my musical compositions on my YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/MSHarrisMusic).

I love live music of all kinds, but most recently prefer watching orchestral performances at the Brighton Dome.

Sport is my main interest besides music and I play squash, football, snooker along with many others.

I'm pretty new to this game so am looking to get in touch with others to see their work, views, advice etc.

Hi Michael. Thanks for the feedback. No- my music cannot be heard live because there is a lot of over-dubbing of parts. I played two guitar parts and a bass part and keyboard parts. Sax by Chris Alpiar and drums by Seth Burkhart.

I mix everything in the box because I'm lazy :-)
