Hello fellow composers!  I offer up a new orchestral piece I've been working on.   The concept, themes, and a good portion of the work were actually written back in 1998, but laid dormant for years…Continue

About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I am an orchestral/wind band composer, or at least attempting to be. For now I write for my own enjoyment, though I have had the occasional live performance. Like many, I've always dreamed of doing film composition, though after an 8 year hiatus from composing anything, I'm happy to be writing any music at all!

As far as music software goes, I use Finale and Kontakt pretty much exclusively these days.

Thanks so much for your detailed comments on my piece. I literally had to go on holiday for a week just after you posted the critique so I had to dash out of the door. It's great to get advice from a tuba player who knows the range and possibilities of the instrument. I will definitely act on some of the advice given. I will also sometime soon ask your advice on another piece of mine with score which has a lot of brass in it.
