About Me:
I have played in various bands over the years ranging from Jazz to Heavy Metal. Music is passion for me. Primarily I play bass or guitar and vocal work. I've had the privilege of working with some fine musicians over the years and look forward to working with several more to come.

Linux and the Pro audio music industry

I have been wanting to try Linux for a while and finally took the plunge after some prodding from a co-worker. He knew that I had been in bands and recorded music so he pointed me towards some programs I might like.

Ubuntu Studio seems to the the Flavor of choice as it comes with several programs already loaded and ready to go but there are several other flavors as well like 64 Studio.

I'll try to enter some additional info. My primary occupation for living is computer science, so I am trying to find collaborators-musicians for performing my orchestral pieces with better sounds than what I have now.
