"About couterpoint: well, of course there are melodic lines played simultaneously, but you never find two notes played in the same moment, that is there are no chords. Maybe it would be a better name. :)"

A fugue without counterpoint

A small 4-voices fugue, resulting from a bet with my teacher Karl Rasmussen. Composed in December 2010, it is for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon.The original italian title means "Fugue in a single-file line", as the notes can be connected from the beginning to the end by a single line.I hope you enjoy!See More

About Me (Must include biographical information about you as a composer):
I started to compose in 1996 because I had to.
Self-taught, only ìn 2012-2013 I took a few orchestration lessons from Karl Aage Rasmussen, very important for me.
I wrote only a few things, mostly tonal music 19th century alike.
I also wrote three signature tunes for a national TV program.

A small 4-voices fugue, resulting from a bet with my teacher Karl Rasmussen. Composed in December 2010, it is for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon.

The original italian title means "Fugue in a single-file line", as the notes can be connected from the beginning to the end by a single line.
