Anything! But most of the time I'm listening to acoustic/folk/indie, classical, and original film scores and soundtracks.

I'm a graduate of NYU's Master of Music Composition (Emphasis in Scoring for Film/Multimedia) program. My professional background primarily involves writing for film/T.V., but I'm looking to make further contacts in the industry, with the eventual goal of being a music supervisor for film/t.v. I currently reside in Nashville, TN.

Conferences in L.A.

Hello Everyone,

I'm thinking of attending Music in Media Interactive conference or the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film and T.V. Music conference in L.A. this year, but before I buy my tickets, I was wondering if anyone has previously attended either conference and if I could get some feedback (What was the format like? Well I hear diligence and sound knowledge of technique in your pieces. I guess what I am missing from your selections are more extended works. Do you have any concert music?

Please check my stuff out - like to know if some of it would meet the standard you hear at NYU. Are you in the Steinhardt School of Music?
