SOULARFLAIR is the creative vehicle of Adam Mannering. All recorded Soularflair material
is written, performed/programmed and recorded solely by Adam Mannering.
Being primarily self-taught, save for a few guitar lessons around age 10, and not being
able to read music, Soularflair music is primarily instinctual. If it sounds good to the
composer, that’s all that matters.
Soularflair is not limited by genre, composing songs in the vein of progressive rock, metal,
classical, experimental, soundtrack, electronica and more.
For Soularflair, the artistic process itself a mixed blessing, and not always a fully pleasant
experience. It is both cathartic and therapeutic. The vast, sprawling middle ground of
mediocrity is not where the best art comes from. It comes from pain, frustration, mania,
confusion, delirium, ecstasy and chaos. The most interesting human behaviour comes when
humans are pushed to their extremes. Soularflair music reflects this idea, and can best be
described as intense, passionate, deep, cathartic, profound, and sometimes brutal and
