Especially the second last - a little fugato - with some more more daring harmonies do interest me -  do they fit?

I admire your patience and stamina. If I had to work with a piece or sketch made by another composer, I’d probably end up with a heart condition. Although, now that I think about it, I did make arrangements for Piano 3 Hands (yes, 3 Hands, not 4) based on another composer's work, but they are short pieces.
