I lost half of my visitors. That's how I found out something has changed. Thank God my BFF is a web developer. She is going to take action. I wouldn't know what to do.

  • I've never believed in SEO (search engine optimization) or any of the associated paraphrenalia. My websites contain content that others may find helpful; if they do, I will get external references and that will increase my ranking.  Otherwise, even if my ranking changes, so what?  Content is what matters, not fiddling around with second-guessing what some search engine will do. The whole intent of these algorithm changes is precisely to root out these SEO shenanigans that, at the end of the day, do little to actually create useful content.

    • Good luck with that.
