Hello! It's been forever since I've posted on here, and I just remembered about its existence so I thought I'd post my most recent work on here.

This piece is a tone poem for wind quintet and two percussionists, based off of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart". It uses a multitude of different styles and perrcussion instruments in order to convey the dark, brutal, and frantic nature of the original story.

While I highly recommend that you read the short story before listening to the work, I can't make you do anything and would highly appreciate any comments, regardless of whether or not you read the story beforehand.

Attached to this post, I have a link to the story, an mp3 a mockup made in MuseScore, and a PDF of the score.

Thank you for reading and please leave any thought regarding the piece for me!
