I don't think I ever posted this before on the forums, but I spent most of this week reworking an orchestration I did a couple years ago of "Andaluza" from the piano suite, Cuatro Piezas Espanolas by de Falla.
Any feedback on the orchestration, mix, etc, most welcome... This is from my ever-changing NotePerformer/NPPE template. I thank ChatGPT for a particularly nice job on the cover art!

Here's the piano original, if you are interested in the comparison...

Re-upping this only because I recently uploaded another version with a ton of more volume & reverb automation--two steps in my workflow that I've really been focused on in the past few months...
I find that the volume automation in particular is amazingly effective at bringing out expressivity in NP mockups, even if done at the overall mix level. I just wish I didn't find it so tedious.
Been a long time since I was active on this forum. Finally got around to this.
Very interesting orchestration, as usual, John. Not much comment on the music itself; I feel like it's beyond my current skill level to critique. :P Beautifully and delicately scored, I ilked it.
