Hei Nick, dont worry, just compose. Are not similituds but sometime, straditions get up and we use technicall aspect but not "stile". Globaly I like romantism but fixed tonality, only major or minor for me are not enough for contemporary music stiles, ideas.

Hi Vlad. Thank you for your intelligent observation and comment. Yes indeed - I would agree: heavily influenced by mid-to-late romanticism in terms of general piano writing. One cannot escape one's background!!!
