Music Composers Unite!

I am excited to be here and meet new composers and collaborate on advice, knowledge, and ideas. I would love to know more about the best software programs to aspire to have such as Kontakt 4 etc, Traktor S4 is on my new list too and other such sampler and music software.

I am learning how to DJ to add and mix my vocals with to create more

club friendly music. I love to create Meditation Music, Industrial Ballads, Gothic Inspired Pop and along those lines of electronic music. I mostly sing and write lyrics. I love my software programs because I play keyboards however I am not a great live player. Vocals is my best instrument, and so I find that it is easier to write the songs and use software rather than explain my latest concepts.

I am looking forward to hearing from more composers and being apart of the community! Feel free to add messages and whatever else if it is respecting and informative. I will do the same in return. Cheers!

If you aren't producing music for orchestra, you'll be able to produce your own polished recordings more easily. Realistic sounding orchestral libraries can be very expensive. For capturing vocals, you'll need a high-quality signal chain- a decent microphone into a good mic preamp into a good A/D converter, into a DAW. I encourage you to learn all you can about mixing. I'm looking forward to hearing your music.
