Music Composers Unite!
Decided to add the first part of my thesis as of now.
Right now it focuses on two poets and their interpretations and feelings on aspects of time. THough the piece doesnt focus on time itself, time has a big part in the composition.

I found it hard to over-ride the midi reproduction in the sound file. I rather imagine the strings section will sound quite a bit warmer and better realized -- and of course no program I know of does voices right. That said I'm looking forward to hearing more. I think its got a good start and interesting places to grow.
the composition isn't called a thesis, thats just what the piece is for. Almost all Masters programs have a thesis, for composition instead of doing a research paper, we write a piece and write a large paper about said piece.
Although I wasn't too keen on some of the false relations to begin with, for me it build up well before it found its resting place in D major.
So that's new to me - you call compositions a "thesis" at University?
I had a listen to the Mp3 and read along with the score, and I have to I look forward to hearing the whole piece.
Good luck and happy progress on the rest of your thesis!
