I have been taking a bit of a break from composing and arranging Irish airs for the piano as a little exercise for myself.

So far, only 3 airs have been written.

  1. Inis Oirr (Inisheer)
  2. Si Bheag, si Mhor (Sheebeg, Sheemore)
  3. Slane -- (some of you guys will recognise this as Be Thou My Vision or Lord of All Hopefulness)

Though I am definitely planning on arranging more Irish airs, I would very much like to take a short break from that now and will be returning to composing. I am not sure what it'll be this time, but there is a feeling for it. Just have to explore and play around.

I enjoyed your Irish airs very much.  They had a lucid, clear effect on me.

Note: IT would be great to see the score, at least some part of it.
