Conferences in L.A.

Hello Everyone,I'm thinking of attending Music in Media Interactive conference or the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film and T.V. Music conference in L.A. this year, but before I buy my tickets, I was wondering if anyone has previously attended either conference and if I could get some feedback (What was the format like? Were the discussions/panels helpful? Networking opportunities? etc...) I'm interested in gaining experience as music supervisor for film/t.v., so I thought this would be a great way to meet established professionals and hear what they have to say.     Hello Everyone,

    I just wanted to give you an update: I have purchased my tickets for the Music in Media Interactive Conference (Nov. 20-22nd) in L.A. and am officially going!! I am very excited and will certainly keep you all up to date with my findings! If anyone has any other pieces of advice/info. that I should know before going, please feel free to share!     Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately, I'm not (yet) living in L.A., so I'll have to try and find a cheap flight out there and a hotel room! (That's part or the reason I'm hesitant to go...I'm still a poor college grad! haha.) But you're certainly right about the networking opportunities. If I end up attending, I'll be armed with my CV, business cards, demo, etc... =) I'll keep you posted and let you know what I decide to do! I may even keep a little blog going while I'm there to tell everyone on here how things are going. Take care, Fredrick! I'll talk to you again soon!
