Remember "Advanced Orchestra" VI Library?

It was called Peter Siedlaczek's Advanced Orchestra and in it's day, it was pretty impressive and I used it quite often when I was going for orchestral "realism". Doesn't hold to todays modern…Continue

Hello fellow musicians! So I’m basically self taught and never really explored printing out sheet music. Using Logic X for many years now, I normally live 100% in “piano roll” view when composing. In…Continue

"This very intense piece is amazing with a nice sound production although its age. It activates many emotions on its way. Really impressive to keep it so intense but still interesting over a relatively long time. Well done. Kjell"

Remember "Advanced Orchestra" VI Library?

It was called Peter Siedlaczek's Advanced Orchestra and in it's day, it was pretty impressive and I used it quite often when I was going for orchestral "realism". Doesn't hold to todays modern high-end sample libraries but over all - not too shabby!I was going through my iTunes library and started listening to some of my older compositions and this one kind of stuck out so I thought I'd share. The piece is from around 2002 or 3 if memory serves. It's called "Insect Wars". I was using my trusty…See More

"Hi Stefan. Thanks for the kind words. I use Logic X as well but I don't use any of the built in orchestral sounds. I primarily use virtual instruments by a company called East West. Specifically "Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum…"

"Personally, I like the original version better. The only thing I would have done differently is not use a combination piano/string patch. I would have the piano be it’s track and then build a sparse proper string arrangement over it. The…"

Henry Morris replied to Daniel Krausz's discussion Trying to create a printed score for Animal Contest entry. Help?
