A lockdown son

Hello everybody, this coronavirus lockdown (fortunately it was not hard in Rome, where I live) allowed me to have a lot of time to compose, therefore I used it. The output is a symphonic poem called "The World and Man".I don't believe in God, but i started it with "A God" creation. I am not a new age ecologist, but this poem turned out to be a kind of hymn to nature against the dominance of Man. In short, I don't agree with myself, but I like the piece. :)Every critic/suggestion will be…See More

Self-taught, only ìn 2012-2013 I took a few orchestration lessons from Karl Aage Rasmussen, very important for me.
I wrote only a few things, mostly tonal music 19th century alike.
I also wrote three signature tunes for a national TV program.

A fugue without counterpoint

Posted on December 9, 2017 at 5:30am 9 Comments

A small 4-voices fugue, resulting from a bet with my teacher Karl Rasmussen. Composed in December 2010, it is for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon.

The original italian title means "Fugue in a single-file line", as the notes can be connected from the beginning to the end by a single line.

I hope you enjoy!
