My Workstation

This is the core of my studio. The Roland D-20 makes a nice controller board and is also a nice sounding support synthesizer. The mixer is a Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro. I have a more detailed picture of it in this gallery. The monitor is a 21 inch CRT. I'll replace it with an LCD when I can. I use Cakewalk Sonar 5 for all my sequencing and tracking.

    Unless I can start selling music I don't think I really have to upgrade. If my luck changes I'll likely upgrade pretty much everything in the studio. I've wanted a real weighted controller board for a long time now and of course a faster computer now so that I can start exploring soft synthesizers and effects with less noise than my digital to analogue back to digital setup generates now.

    I use Sonar 7 now..but...I guess 8 will be better..hahah
