This is my first album cover since the glory days of MP3.com before it shut down and booted us all. The photograph is a forming super cell taken during a hot humid summer day. The lightning bolt and Music Storm text effects are both done using a special sequence of filters in Adobe Photoshop. The color for my name text was picked directly from the brighter part of the photograph which can be seen directly above it.
