I took an interest in composing music and playing the piano at a very young age. Unfortunately at the time, piano lessons were not affordable, so I continued to teach myself what I could. When I was 11, my parents finally found a teacher for me, and I have been studying piano and continuing to explore composition independently since. I'm still very much a beginner, but I hope that I can learn enough to consider myself proficient someday. In the meantime, I have a lot of work to do. I plan to spend my undergraduate years studying composition and theory in-depth - as for what I want to do after that, I'm not entirely sure.
