"i used to have a recording of barber's "medea's meditation and dance of vengeance" with thomas schippers conducting. i can't remember which orchestra (i could google it, but i'm too lazy). but, yes, i've heard of sir thomas. do i get the kewpie?…"
sounds like you have some great stuff! last june, when i was converting over to a macbookPro, and wrestling over CPU speed, UB, RAM, HD speed, etc, i couldn't help but think how easy beethoven had it.
I believe we did Britten's "Spring Symphony" under Lenny and a premiere of Poulenc's "Mass"(?) under Schippers. I'm not sure of the title but I do remember it being Poulenc.
If I can find the kewpie in my closet it's yours, but don't hold your breath:-)

i mean, come on...how hard is it to write a symphony with a pen and paper? let's have beethoven go out and buy the right computer, fill it with the right software VIs, and import the right kind of video file and see how far he gets...
genius schmenius...a pen, some paper, and a few beers...man, it's like shooting ducks in a barrel.
I use VSL Pro full symphonic cube, Vienna Instruments Appassionatta Strings, StormDrums, Miroslav Orchestral Library, Worldwinds, Miroslav Symphonic Voices, Ilio Symphony of Voices, SampleCell II, misc boxes, session players, etc, etc
Hi, Rolin. Thanks for the invite. Don't be disappointed that I'm not actually a composer. I'm just marketing one. The one in the picture. And in the picture below. But don't tell them. I wouldn't want them to think I was cheating on them with the other.
