I am a composer, just busy, please do not delete my darn account! Or I'll call up Chris and say hey what the hey! . . . . The best way to know about me is simply to listen to the music I make. I enjoy challenging myself as a musician, either by learning new instruments or different styles. I've become a curious fan of ethnic and world music and enjoy finding ways to slip bits of this or that into my compositions. As a composer (I use Sibelius and my Nuendo 4 farm) I'm most informed by the work of Ennio Morricone. I've been playing the electric guitar for 24 years, mostly on the Fender Stratocaster. This is my main instrument and what I'm best at. However, playing the electric guitar wasn't enough so for the past three years I've been studying drums with one of LA's best Jazz drummers, Khalil Herbert. Together we investigate a lot of world rhythms. Prior to that I did one year of voice training. I've studied Flamenco and Latin American Folk music with Jeff Briggs who was a student of Juan Serrano. .
