"Hi Bill! You're welcome :) I use a combination regarding real instruments and libraries. The main problem with libraries is that it sounds sometimes "perfect". But real instruments "live & breath". Sibelius 6.1 is my notation sofware; Cubase 5.1…"

"Hi Bill! Thanks for your kind words. In every score I try to use my own language. I like your work as well - very gentle and sensitive. Keep up the good work! Which libraries do you use in your scores? Regards from Muncih, Ben"

"Yeah, Munich is a nice city. But New Zealand's natural landscapes offer an unforgettable moment, just inspiration. I haven't been there yet, what a pitty :/ But I will visit it in the foreseeable future!"

I like your language regarding composing - especially "coffee blue aroma". A bit "groovy & funky" - dance theatre style. Keep on moving!

"Hey back!

"Red line" is my word creation :) It means that there is a structure in your score. On one hand the score seems self-contained. On other hand you put lots of emotion in it. So the result has quality AND entertaining.

Keep on moving
Ben"

  • Hello Ben. I would like all of work to listen to. This is why I inquired about an album. I love all your score music so anything that you would be willing to submit would be greatly loved.
  • Thank you Ben! That bass patch in Andromeda would be a great start! Thank you for your help.
  • Hello Ben. I Just heard Andromeda for the tenth or eleventh time. I really that piece! I have to ask, what is that sticky bass patch you use in it? So befitting with so much atmosphere. Also, do you have any albums? I would love to load my ipod with your tunes.
  • Thank you Ben! Coming from a person with your musical expression and ideas, that is a huge compliment. The piece(s) I'm sharing is from a hardware device. It is 80% a Roland Fantom XR. Being a gigging musician, I haven't made the transition to software yet. However, after hearing your work, that day is coming soon! :-) I can't believe the realism in your voices! Those are all plug-ins? Amazing! Do you ever have to "tweak" your patches, or are they straight "from the box"?
  • Wow! You are a true master of emotion and dynamics! You just met one of your biggest fans!!! Brilliant work!
  • well if you ever do, and im still around give me a buzz and i will hock you up :)
  • thanks man. I was just in munich about 4 months ago. Its quite a beautiful city you have there.
  • Hi Ben,

Thank you for your kind words!

  • Hi Ben!

Excuse the tardy reply, I have been a bit busy lately. Thanks so much for your kind words, I much appreciated. I am listening (in a loop!) to your Midnight boulevard and find it very interesting! It is powerful sometimes and sometimes subtle, and keeps the line moving, never letting audience lose interest. Also, I find your production very versatile...thanks for sharing Ben.
    Best! keep in touch!
    Yaiza
