Lots of people are happy to steal mp3s and re-use them.

I'm not judging the action of removing the mp3s I'm just saying that if your music is online in any form…"

Miguel Marquez replied to Miguel Marquez's discussion What happened to that Phillip guy?
"So what if someone steals your shitty mp3 from myspace or soundclick? Whoever steals the music will go through a lot of pains in order to figure out chords, melodies and all the stuff contained in an orchestral composition, which was the kind of…"

Adrian Allan replied to Miguel Marquez's discussion What happened to that Phillip guy?
"It's not only the practical side of things...it's more the assumption that you can just "jump to the top" on the strength of your music, and then wonder why your music isn't being considered by these top orchestras. Life just isn't like that."

Kento replied to Miguel Marquez's discussion What happened to that Phillip guy?
"Yes, I feel that the process of writing for minor, and also less musically skilled groups is a good practice to learn how to deal with bigger ones...on one hand, professional ensembles will make less mistakes, but then again, it's much easier to…"

  • Hi Miguel,
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you liked "Tamed Moments". I didn't play violin in this track and used "Gypsy" violin sample. I was really pleased with the sound. I'm looking forward to hearing it when it will be recorded with live performers.

Thank you for having taken the time to listen.

    Best wishes,
    Marie-Anne
  • Psicología! Igual puedes unir tus dos vocaciones y estudiar algo de la psicología de la figura del compositor. He leído algunos artículos al respecto, eran interesantes. Mi apellido es vasco (buena intuición!) pero mi nombre es canario.

Psichology! Maybe you can gather your both vocations and do some research on composer´s role. I have read some articles about it, found them interesting. Yes, my surname is basque but my name is canarian

Logic has also symphonic instruments, but not them all sound great, for example strings aren´t that good, that I regret. Where are you from, Miguel? I answer in both languages so the conversation can be followed by other users in the official language of the site as well. Greetings!!

Hi Miguel, thanks for listening and your comment. I use Logic Studio, the full version. I chose the instruments I thought sounded more real, but not them all are so accurate. What do you usually use? If you are interested in a particular timbre just let me know, maybe I can offer some more information. Regards, have a nice day!
  • Hi Miguel!
Thanks for the add. I am listening to your work, find it quite interesting! The Ghost at Saint Martin´s beach is very intriguing, I like it!! Also Altariel, sounds so delicate. I think you are quite versatile. Very nice work Miguel! Regards, merry christmas! :)
  • Hey Miguel...I like The outsider (without better) but where is part I? Nice work Ron
  • Hi Miguel,
Thank you for your kind comments. You have some great music here. I especially like 'The Jewel Ouverture' and 'To whom it may concern'.

    All the best,
    Marie-Anne
