I fell in love with composing music when in South Africa, after moving from my native Belgium. Rhythms, beats and sounds of Africa stylised my music, some of which was used for television, wildlife documentaries, sport and corporate video. Further colour was added during time spent in the USA. I moved to the UK where I focused on composing music for media after completing a diploma course in the same. My main instruments are piano and violin and I’m furthering study in Cinematic Orchestration.

I hope the meal went well.
Thanks for your kind comments about my work. The orchestral stuff I'm quite proud of - it took a lot of work :-) It's all for a library company but unfortunately they don't seem to have done much with it so far :-(
Anyway - like wise regarding your musical talent.
I love the violin. What a beautiful piece. And your string arrangements on the song are great too!
We must meet again soon. I'm going to try and pop up to see James sometime soon so perhaps we can meet there?

Glad to see you here. Thanks for telling me about the Forum. It seems to be an interesting place.
Thank you so so much for your kind works on my little monster! :-)
Yet I think there is still a loooong way for me to go until my strings are fully tamed haha (those strings! never behave!)
Thank you very much again, hope you are having a great day! Best
Very sweet and deep your new song.
A hug!

Fantastic to finally hear your Violin so beautifully performed... sounds great Marie-Anne. Congratulations, well done!! As usual, a pleasure to listen to your work
Best!
Firstly- Thank you very much for your comments on my new Trio. I was listening to the Violin. What an awe-inspiring piece...full of beautiful longing and sadness. I am particularly interested in your the strong harmonic foundation and melodic beauty of this piece....is it meant to be one minute?...I feel it want's to say more...and that the tears should continue to flow.....absolutely beautiful....thank you
The Violin is a lovely, moving piece and very well crafted and produced- congrats! I hope you develop it into a larger work.
Best wishes,
Stephen
