I was born in Florianópolis, SC,a small city in an island at south of Brasil.
At age of 15, I went to Porto Alegre,RS, where I studied Classical Guitar. I had some classes in Classical Composition in Brasilia, (Universidade de Brasília) where I started my professional carreer, having played with 2 symphonic orchestras coaching two top Brazilian singers, one of them Rosa Passos, and assembled my chamber trio that played exclusively my own compositions and arrangements.. In Belo Horizonte, MG( the land of Clube de Esquina composer Toninho Horta and Milton Nascimento),MG I wrote some arrangements for the Minas Gerais Symphonic Orchestra, some of them coaching singer Jane Duboc.

Excelente trabalho Luciano. Bom gosto e honestidade em tudo. Eu gosto particularmente quando você revela influências do Baião etc.
Tudo de bom,

VERY nice stuff! you really have the Brasialian gift for melody ( it gives me the feeling of "saudade" -whatever the actual English translation of that phrase means.)
Have you happened to have run into a cyber friend of mine from Rio named Ithamara Koorax?
