I've played drums for over fifty years and am self-taught on piano for about 30 years now. After the introduction of MIDI in the early 80's, I purchased Cakewalk 1.0 by Twelve Tone and was hooked on orchestrating and arranging. Over the years, I've been able to improve on the piano skills, orchestration and arrangements skills, and work with so many gifted artists in the Detroit area. I really thank those artists for giving me the opportunity, and open slate to work with their musical ideas and concepts, and also trust in my abilities.
I'm currently using an iMac running Cubase Pro 10. Cubase has become my favorite tool for working on composition. Been a recording engineer quite a bit this year, yet also being able to arrange and orchestrate new music.
For 2014 and 2018, our church music group, 'In Praise' video and audio recorded a CD/DVD evening concert performances. They turned out quite well and have invitations to perform for the Archdiocese of Detroit and other churches in the area since then.
Up until 2018, played several venues for the church, as well as performed as keyboardist for Evangel Ministries of Detroit, Family Night of Praise and Family Day or Worship services. A wonderful experience full of praise and worship.
Looking forward to working on several projects, providing orchestration as backdrop for spoken verses and stories from the Bible.
