About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I've been composing since I was 10. I had an education as teacher of music and I functioned in high school as teacher general musical practice, musical history and analysis. My second diploma was teacher Germanic languages (Dutch/English/German). I was the musical leader of a chamber orchestra during more than 20 years, with which we did a number of recordings (CD, radio, television). My interests in music can be situated mainly in the field of baroque, classical, early romanticism and genuine folk music, although I sometimes write more modern scores (but not contemporary music). My musical examples are: Jean-Philippe Rameau, Georg Philip Telemann, Josef Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss. My musical preferences: baroque and classical music, early romanticism, genuine folk music. Genres: 17th, 18th and 19th century dance music. Genres written so far: concerto, fantasy, overture, suite, symphonic poem, rhapsody, chamber music, songs, music for a stage play, ballet, folk dances Further: many arrangements for small groups (classical and folk)

Did you post a contribution to the Dance Contest? Your Ballet may be a contender.

Hi Jos,
It’s fastlane(Phil) from the defunct Garritan forum. I’m glad to see you on here. I became a member years ago but I haven’t been active for some time. The prodigal son returns I guess. :)
Welcome Jos!
