About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.

I started playing a casio keyboard when I was eight and fell in love with film scores a few years after that (John Williams' score to Jurassic Park was a huge influence for 10 year-old me). Having no friends in my tweens and loving anything squaresoft grew my passion for game scoring (Nobuo Uematsu!). The self-doubting stage of my early twenties kept me from diving in head first (I got a degree in accounting and finance), but music has always found a way to stick with me, like a stubborn old friend you always forget to call but they still manage to get a hold of you anyways. Now I'm working as a data analyst for a video game developer, and also doing all of the scores and sound effects for the games we release (most are posted on my soundcloud link). I occasionally get a "friend of a friend" gig to score a short film or project, and I play keys in a band that tours quite frequently, both nationally and abroad (I am incredibly fortunate that my job allows me to work remotely so I can still afford rent). The reason I’m joining this forum is to meet some other composers in (and out of) the industry, even if just to geek out about sample libraries ;)
