"Perhaps I need to listen to it again, but I don't recall hearing the exact opening melody at the end, just the first three notes.  But maybe I'm mistaken, and if so, I apologize!
Well, the amount of reverb in NP can be adjusted, so it's not so…"

"Woah, that's refreshing to hear. I guess i am going through the right direction, even for me it seems fairly based on obe theme. But people do often tell me that my music seems to "jump" all over the place. That they would live to hear more of one…"

"Hehe, a great choice for what I described, i should definitely give it a try and see how i fare in composing something similar. I would probably use more percussion, hehe, Exciting."

"The opening melody is repeated at the end in the fluets. Hehe.
Do you find NP reverb to be too less? Or too much?
Thanks so much for taking the time and commenting, i appreciate the criticism a lot. "

"I don't find it simplistic at all - on the contrary, I'd say if anything there are too many ideas here (most of them good ones!)  But as Ingo Lee noted, it does feel a little bit like talking to someone who keeps changing the subject.  I can…"

"Have listened to this a few times -- at first, despite the touching charm, I got the impression a bit that it was a bit heavy-handed in the middle section but now I'm not so sure. There's something of a stepwise journey being described, I think…"

"You mentioned techno and repetitive music, Steve Reich wrote this in 1976 and it's an influence on techno if you haven't heard it.  If you've heard it already or don't like it I'll delete it. This is a great example of developing simple ideas.

"Hmmmm i can't really say. In all honesty i don't really listen to music much. Sometimes I'll binge on a certain composer or some techno music.
Hmmm but if i had to say... When I'm depressed i really enjoy intense music with a strong beat, something…"

There are quick and easy methods but only if you know exactly what you want to do. Tell us exactly what you want and we might know how to do it.  "Sounding good" is not one…"

  • Hi there - I've just been listening to your music. I particularly enjoyed the A minor fairy tale - I'm a sucker for that chord shift from tonic to minor sixth at the beginning (forgive my rusty music theory terminology if that's not quite the right way to describe it :) ) Lovely and dark. Keep it up!
