"Hello Isaac:

Yes. I've been to the Tunesat site. Seems similar to BMI's Landmark Digital technology. At the moment, Tunesat is not worth the expense for me. I'm not sure that ASCAP would pay any attention to it anyhow.

May I ask the name of the…"

Basically, TuneSat is providing the service Andrew Gleibman described. They take your…"

"Thanks Chris. It just seems that, with the huge increase in digital transmission, tracking should be easier.

It surprises me that it's been ignored so long.

There may also be a bit of the "cat guarding the canary" scenario. They (PRO's etc.) don't…"

There are ten tracks on the CD and I thought about signing long and hard.
I say - as long as the…"

Matthew Moore replied to Eric Waters's discussion Music Libraries: Exclusive or Not?
"I'm in favour of exclusivity. Only because PRS seem to have a hard enough time keeping track of what is being used as it is, without the same tune being registered under many different names :-)

That's only my opinion though :-)"

Thanks to everyone else as well. Lots of good suggestions."

"Hello Ray,

Yes, that point has been made by others as well. I'm taking it as good advice to use on the next piece - more variety will keep the listener engaged.

Thanks,

Eric"

"Thanks Chris,

I went to your site. You play the duduk! How cool. I've been wanting one but I don't have the time to learn how to play it. Colossus has one that's not bad. It'll have to do for now.

BTW: "Flying" is excellent. I like the changes in…"

  • Hello Eric,
I enjoyed your rendition of "It Had To be You", I'm a fan of Gus Kahn and his classic songwriting. Your other compostions are well done and are very good at conjuring up visions and moods. I write songs mostly myself and wish you good luck with your endeavors.
  • Hello Ray,

    Thanks for the compliment.

It's been awhile since I wrote Stinger Bed 1. I think it's mostly VSL Horizon Series. I did it for Video News release. I haven't worked with EWQSLO but I do use Colossus from East-West. Yes, I agree. The East-West instruments don't seem to require a lot of tweaking but I get a fatter sound out of the VSL (with a bit of effort).

    Best wishes,

    Eric
