"Hi Daniel, thanks for posting this, I never heard of these festival/competitions so it is great to find despite the fact that it is over.  I didn't realise this is not the place for posting this type of message...I guess I need to re-read the rules.…"

Daniel Beijbom replied to Alex Lamy's discussion First forum post! - short orchestral 'Dante's Inferno' concept album
"I listened to "inferno" - thought it was great! very cool! loved the chord change a 0:49, really set the mood for the rest of the piece. also, the part at 2:30 - 2:47, great orchestration and progression, really epic. The weakest part in the song…"

For some reason I could imagine this in a childrens adventure film I don't know what your thoughts are on that.

There are some nice swells in this piece.

Daniel Beijbom replied to P.Petridis's discussion Wild Hearts-music trailer

Daniel Beijbom replied to James G. Watson's discussion Music for opening titles

  • Reallly, what were you thinking? ;) Must be the nicotine/caffeine-fueled neurons, unsupervised and unleashed. Good work here. "Ah Hah" moments in each piece. Very original but could even be more so. Sounds like rhythms in a composition are one of your strengths and for me, more rhythmic diversity makes me listen longer.

'Fearless' - the layering works, dynamics work. "Prohibition" interleaving percussion/breaks with a solid string support foundation. Nice stereo field. 'Colossus' is anything but predictable. Horns are strong but could be stronger with lows pushed.  Pleasure to listen to your work. Thanks
