"Thanks James, this is very interesting.
You do not talk about the CC11 (expression controler). My experience showed me that it as also very important to use the CC11 to modelize the bow movement of the string player when you want to achieve a…"
"Thanks for your comment Mike.
"Morning" is effectively different from my other stuffs. I finally decided to learn to play the piano and it changed manythings. First I became more interested in the melody. I you listen to my others pieces, you will…"

"Well it's quite simple. Load your 18 V run Simulator.
Active the CC 65 (Portamento) and the CC5 in your midi editor.
With the CC5 you will tune the lenght or the portamento efect. The lower CC5, the longuer Portamento effect
I really like your latest piece: "Morning" This is a very distinct departure from your Big Hollywood lineup and demonstrates some serious versatility in terms of style. I would say that this piece speaks with a much clearer voice. It has some real heart and is thematically adept. I saw people stretching and yawning. This song speaks whereas some of the other stuff tends to shout. I also like the contrasts here. You move around in terms of orchestrational density (texture, I guess is the proper term) and dynamics with some very nice thematic development. This is a real superior piece of work and sounds more personally yours than your other stuff.
Hi Cyril, Thanks for the kind comments and great having you as a friend. I love "Warlord"! great tension with not compromising space in the piece and great melodies! Nice Job!
Wow, this is very good for somebody who hasn't studied music! I would suggest you don't; it will probably tarnish your natural compositional style.
Work on your production chops, which is always a real treat. (erm, do I keyswitch or layer elements? that sort of thing.) You're solid here, but given your choice of tools and style, production is going to be very important, so it really needs to be top notch.
There are a few places where your orchestration tends to get carried away. (The Hans Zimmer affect) Nothing real egregious, just something to keep an eye on. Contrast is usually more effective than just turning it all on. I have this problem, myself and still haven't solved it.
In general, though, you've got some serious talent here. Get an agent.
