About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I was the youngest member of ASCAP in 1965, having written the score for three motion pictures by the age of 12. I then studied with Nadia Boulanger in Paris and completed my education in Vienna, Austria. Having written more than 2000 scores, for seven consecutive years I won the ASCAP award for “Most Performed Television Background Score”. I also composed more than twenty feature films, and my music has been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. I created the world's first orchestral score for a video game, “Dragon's Lair,” which is preserved in the Smithsonian Institute. In addition to my live orchestral scores, I have become a prominent figure in electronic orchestral score realization. I have done the sound design for “Battlestar Galactica,” “Big Wednesday,” “Logan's Run,” “Pete's Dragon,” “An American Tail” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”.
