About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I began my career in the pro music biz at the tender age of 17, placing songs with Top 40 artists The Standells and getting my own artist deals, first with GNP Crescendo, and later, ABC Records.
I founded Track Record Studios in Los Angeles where I engineered or produced for The Association, Canned Heat, Brian Wilson, and Lauren Wood, and others.
As a journalist, I was staff writer for Keyboard Magazine (MusicMedia) , as well as writing for other industry pubs such as Songwriter, Mix Magazine, Cue, and The Hollywood Reporter.
I have also been a panelist at AES, The Computer Game Developer's Conference, and California Lawyers for the Arts. I co-founded the Assoc. of Interactive Audio & Music Professionals which was later adopted by the MMA as the Interactive Audio SIG.
I composed the original score to a unique children’s video, “Elroy’s Toy,” on the Miramar label, directed by Jan Nickman (creator of “The Mind’s Eye”). A partial list of corporate clients includes Microsoft, Miller’s Outpost, Splash Studios, Rymell Multimedia, Gamco, and Aureal, Inc.
Today, my instrumental compositions range from acoustic guitar-based tracks to complete orchestral arrangements. My most recent projects have included music for television programs (Discovery Channel, Biography, BET, etc.) and creating original tracks for several music libraries.
