"Thanks for sharing, Bob. I feel like I was there! Great summary.

Powell sounds like an interesting guy. I liked some of his work on XMEN 3. I have no idea why he thought to use the Superman ostinato, but maybe it was meant to be obvious."

  • Ooops!!on my first visit to the forum, i was listening to "Chaos Theory" then somehow i placed the track right beside two of my wretched song-lets!!

just after mailing u, i found the option of removing the track from the list. Thus u didnt find it.

My apologies for the whole fiasco!!(or should i say "chaos""?!!  :)    )

  • Dear Mr Safir,

i dont know how,but i have got your "chaos theory" into "my music" and i am geeting kudos for your work!!!i am really sorry.!!!!hats off to u for such a wonderful track!!!now could u kindly suggest me how can remove the track from my quack-y songs and thereby exonerate my self from the guilt of plagiarism

    regards

    SB

  • We have something in common: I too have worked as a journalist (although not for such impressive publications). I've always loved music, and since the age of about 8 music composition has been as natural as talking for me. But at the ripe age of 48 I'm getting serious about composition and both hope and plan to market my music.

I only have two songs here now. But I'm currently working on a package of 8 instrumentals, some of which I'll post here after I complete the package.

It would be a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

  • Bob, I really like your "Arabian Dream". It reminds me a bit of Mike Batt's Caravan soundtrack. Your music is great - hope I can learn from you!
  • Your music is the most amazing, touching, energetic, ambient, philosophic, well instrumented, performed and organized of what I heard in the latest time...
  • Hey man! Always great to hear your music. Hope you've been well.

  • Hi Bob. Really liking your tracks. Really well written and produced. Honoured to have you as a friend.

  • Bob, I had a chance to have a listen... amazing stuff. Every aspect (composition, arrangement, production) is of the highest standard!
  • Bob, thanks for your really kind words. Unfortunately I often read this site from work and so don't get to hear enough material from other composers. I will listen to your music at home tonight!
  • Thanks for your very kind words Bob! I am working harder everyday on them. They are still not like yours though. I hope that I learn more from you!!
All the best and your friend,
    Stephen!
PS: Thanks for the Email!!! :-)
