Born in 1985, Benoît Lefèvre began studying violin at the Conservatoire de Bourges (FR), where he obtained a degree in violin and music theory. From 2003, he started to specialize in music composition by attending courses of orchestration and harmony at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Nantes, before studying electroacoustic and instrumental composition, orchestration and harmony with Roger Cochini, Guy Ferla, Alain Louvier, Jean-Michel Bardez in Paris, Bourges and Toulouse. He holds degrees in composition, and a French national certificate of music teacher (music theory, analysis, history). As a composer, his career led him to play his works in Bourges, Paris and Aberdeen
