"I like *certain* commentary on a piece... like when I read that Eric Whitacre feels that the four measures illustrating the "never kissing" line of text for "A Boy and a Girl" "may be the truest notes" he's ever written... but don't give me the…"

Andrew Wonders replied to Richard Slone's discussion How do I make it so people can download my mp3 files?
"I'm not aware of any feature on CF right now that allow people browsing your profile to download the tracks. You might check out file-hosting/sharing sites like Box.net where you can upload files, then get a download link that you can send to…"

Andrew Wonders replied to Tyler Hughes's discussion A composer's place in society
"I haven't read through the responses, but my response (from my own standpoint) is that, I compose, first and foremost, for my own pleasure. I compose because there is music in my head, that if not let out, will explode my cranium. Beyond that, I…"

  • Thanks for the kind words dude.
I've only just upgraded my system this year and the top few tracks on my profile are the first I've produced with it all.
MASSIVE learning curve, but I think it's gonna work out ok.
    Stay in touch mate.
    Sean.
  • Hi Andrew,

I'm glad for your kind words. Cool that you like the tracks I have up here.
You can listen to more stuff at my company web www.morningdewmedia.com
Yes, I was in Naglfar for 2 years and recorded the epic "Vittra" playing the drums. I also played on the pre-production demo for Vittra called "Fuck you we're Naglfar", I have the tape somewhere if you're interested to get a copy.
After that I did a few albums with Embracing, Azure and some other bands and projects until 2003 when I started this media production company where I compose and do sound design for games, shows, artists etc.

Your theme "As the world begins again" is really epic too!
I just uploaded a new jazzy song, check it out! =)

    Talk laters!
  • Thanks Andrew, for your very nice words ! I'm glad you liked my works.. thanks also for adding me :-)
  • Dude.....That's some cool genres of interest!!
I used to play guitar for a british metal band called 'Thirteenth Sign'.
Left just as they got signed :(
Still.........wouldn't be doing this now if I was still on the road!! lol.
    Take it easy
    Sean.

  • Hi Andrew:

switched tickets in particular shows a lot of promise.
    Keep at it!
  • Thanks for the comment. I wrote that in 1982 and published it in1991. I noticed that you like Metal as do I and I am incorporating it into all the pieces in my new album. Do you read or orchestrate for live musicians at all? Do you like Cold Play?

  • Thank you....beautiful

  • Thanks Andrew, I am a fan of Elfman, though not my main influence. I am more of a Morricone kind of guy (he cant seem to do anything wrong!).

I really enjoy your music as well, especially Accidental Waltz. It pisses me off because I wish I would written it!

Great stuff, man. Keep it up
