Originally from Asbury Park, NJ, composer Adrian Peek lives in Los Angeles where he writes music for film, television, production libraries and video games. His music has been heard internationally in television and radio productions for the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION, GLOBAL TV, PBS, BRAVO!, and VIDEON ENTERTAINMENT. His recent film scoring work includes A BOY AND HIS SHARK. As a songwriter, Adrian’s music and lyrics have been recorded by MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, THE SOUL MESSENGERS, THE BROTHERS CURTIS, and SHIMI TAVORI. As a studio musician/producer, Adrian has recorded with BROKEN SONGS, ROY AYERS, GARY BRATZ, JOE BATAAN, MAESTRO BRAMWELL TOVEY, STEFAN BAUER, STAFF MUSICIAN; CBC/MID OCEAN STUDIOS, DAN WEINSTEIN, MARK TORTORICCI, JACK BLACK, BARBARA MORRISON, JIMMIE MADDIN, GERSHOM SIZOMU, RON PALEY, DANEIL KOULACK, THE WELFARE STARLETS, SISTER DOROTHY, PAPA MAMBO, PETE COSEY, CHESTER WHITMORE, NORMA MILLER, SKIP CUNNINGHAM, LINDA HOPKINS, TRACY DAHL, FELA-ANIKULAPO KUTI, and many other artists. Thanks a lot for your feedback and compliments. Yea, you got it - it was at CBC studios in Toronto. The engineer was Josh Tidsbury - great guy, and yea, it was a HUGE rush hearing the music performed. I could hardly believe it when they began playing - practically otherworldly. I did do a synth mock up, which is also on my page - last track.
Just listening to David and Fatima - very cool vocals in that one. You have a really unique style!
