L_P_ replied to Adam Weldon's discussion VSTi's... What would be you're choice? What do you use at the moment?

"Hi Paul. Thanks for the add and your kind comments. I've had a listen to your compositions and I'm sure many will agree that they could easily be expanded into music that would be quite at home as an integral part of Films and TV dramas. I look…"

Hi Anthony,

that sounds good, I assume then that you have it?
I have several computers with plenty of RAM so that shouldn't be a problem.

Best

Anthony Berlin replied to Adam Weldon's discussion VSTi's... What would be you're choice? What do you use at the moment?
"Toomas, imho it's way better. But it rapes your hardware, unless you sell it your soul, start worshipping it and sacrificing newborns. Really, if you have anything less than 8 gb of RAM, a dedicated 7200 rpm harddrive, a 64-bit host and a 64-bit OS,…"

"No need to apologise Andrew and your views are always welcomed it's just that sample advice threads often go in this direction. I agree that your discussion point was very worthwhile and perhaps you'd like to start a new thread for it?"

How are you? I've been busy wound up with college and stuff in the final two months! I have a few projects coming soon though! and I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a mac pro! :)

    Hope to hear from you,

    Paul.
  • Hi Adam,
thank you very much for your comment. It's alway fine to know that people out there like my scores. Perhaps you can upload more examples regarding your work. It sounds very soulful. But I miss some percussions. They would accent emotional parts considerably.

So long & have a nice day

  • Nice work Adam. Cheers Arthur

  • I Adam ! Thanks for your comment. Yes Walrord is one of my favourite.
I see you live in Scotland ? I traveled through the highlands for my honey moon. Wonderfull country. The lights of the the Glenn Coe with a stormy sky... Whaaa I really loved it. This is the kind of landscape that is able to inspire the music of Warlord....

You know what ? the photo of the header of my page was taken in Glen Finan during my honey moon.
  • Wow !!! Great Music. I would like to be able to create such beautiful melodies.
  • Hi Adam. Thanks for the add. Great music! Right up my street :-) Your studio space looks good too!

    Good luck with everything
