"I really liked it. I believe this suits well for the game you mentioned. I can picture myself lying on an Hawaiian beach listening to this. On around 0:19, when a piano tune came in, I thought the music would go to somewhere different, but it's only…"

8Rivers replied to Gabriel Kovalov's discussion Piano trio- viola and violin 3min
"Sure
Getting a good strings sound is near impossible with a vst but there are some who have come closer than others, like Joshua bell violin, emotional violin and for long note maybe adagio violin by 8dio. Anyhow I always use trial and error and in…"

"Glad to hear it!
And you are right about side-chaining. Very much an EDM thing and other punchy pop things with lots of sub woofer stuff that everything else needs to dance around to be heard."

8Rivers replied to Francois Jenno's discussion Valse Miniature - Solo Piano
"Very good! I make film music and it's usually very crowded but hearing a solo piece that's good is very rare.
As Sam Umar said a little more variation would be good. maybe in rhythm...

sidechain is for EDM and Trance and it was useless here
I did what you said about scooping out 200-300 and the result was sublime."

"With respect, I wouldn't break out things like side-chaining. This just needs basic EQ. Up a few db at 2500 - 3500. May still need a touch more 5000 and/or some 8000 (for "air").
Scoop out some 200-300 - thats where the mud lives. And/or simply roll…"
