The Universe

A few months back when I was less experienced than right now I started to write this piece for piano. I've purified it a bit and decided to upload it to YouTube. I would be really interested on what you think about it. I'm not too sure about it right now, even though I really like the vibes. Link's right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl0mR_prGpY

  • Sounds good and consistent to me. Depending on what you want it to be you could leave it as it is or try to add dimensions, for instance modulations.

  • Thanks for the reply Stefan,

yes I've thought about this as well since the classic Sonata usually consists of multiple movements and modulations play a bigger role. I will certainly think about it. Would you suggest the use of different tempo as well? I was thinking about a few possibilities to increase the level of excitement in the piece. I never saw the need since it sounds alright, but I was unsure as soon as I looked at the sheet music. A lot of people told me that in their opinion that's a must-have.
