Music Composers Unite!
The Battle of Clontarf
Substantially revised version of a piece which I posted in another arrangement some time ago.
In 1014 an Irish army under High King Brian Boru defeated an invading Viking host at Clontarf near Dublin, ending Viking aspirations to conquer Ireland. This composition includes an adaptation of a traditional tune said to be the mustering march of Brian Boru's army.
Orchestration: Flute, Oboe, Horn, Trumpet, Tambourine, 2 Violin, 2 Cello, Viola.
The audio file (attached) was generated with software as a demo. Audio also available at YouTube The Battle of Clontarf and SoundCloud The Battle of Clontarf.
Score pdf available for sale at SMP Press The Battle of Clontarf.

I generally don't post scores to my compositions since many of them are offered for sale through web sites, and it would be inappropriate for there also to be free copies elsewhere on the internet. I'll be glad to email a pdf attachment of this score for private evaluation without charge to any member of this forum on request via private message.
