  • Jothnathan, this is very good! The mood started with an air of mystery, but after two cadences the music expresses a deep passion and it is beautiful. The ending motive starts with a dramatic flaire and ends complete. I would not change a thing!
  • Thank you very much Ann, comments like yours and William's are what inspire me to keep composing. I am in the processes of writing it out and once i've practiced it and gotten down the fingering i would love for you to hear it!

  • Thank you. I would like to hear it. :)
  • I love how moody it is, brilliant excursion into a ragtime feel then back to moody wonderful dissonance. Loved it!
  • Thank you, the ragtime was my initial intention for the whole piece, but it turned out quiet different!

  • Very good indeed. Let's see the score now.

What I had in mind hearing it was Victorian melodrama; you write in a very Romantic style with all those diminished runs.

It is very rhapsodic and free in form.

Maybe the next piece you do you could try to rein in the structure a bit more, as there is almost too much going on; but that comes with experience.

You have the romantic excesses of youth !

  • Your music is very good!
  • Thank you Adrian, that a comment i've heard before ;) What i need is something to write about that i believe could give my music more structure.
