EDIT FOR BAND COMPOSERS: For the band/ wind ensemble composers out there there is no "great" euphonium solo or soli instruments. VSL comes close with its Euphonium Solo, but it lacks vibrato and the only VST I know of euphonium soli are in Spitfire's Albion 2, but it is mixed with horns and Soundiron's Brass Symphony Series Brass Collection but it is mixed with the tuba ensemble so it is blended with tubas and alto horns also.
For saxophones, for jazz: Sampling Modeling and for Concert Band style: VSL (Vienna Symphonic Library.)
EDIT FOR JAZZ COMPOSERS: Fable Sounds Broadway Big Band, Sample Modeling

Just thinking outloud right now thinking of Concert Band music for next year. A concert band has brass, woodwinds, and percussion so my dream tools for this would include:
1. Woodwinds are easy, Orchestral Tool Berlin Series. If they ever come out with brass it just might replace my other libraries as well. Saxophones would be VSL.
2. Brass: trumpets CineBrass blended with Sample Modeling, Horns: CineBrass with Sample Modeling, Trombones: loud trombones would be CineBrass blended with Sample Modeling, and soft trombones would be BML Bones Volume 1, euphonium solo would be VSL, euphonium soli would be Soundiron Brass Symphony Series, tuba solo would be CineBrass Pro and tuba soli would be Soundiron Brass Symphony Series.
3. Percussion: either Cinesamples, Spitfire, or Orchestral Tools.
Reverb: East West Quantum Spaces
Virtual Sound Stage
Oh yes, I believe all of it is downloadable. Even the stuff like spaces that came in the box says, "Don't use the cd, just take this code and download it from the website, lol. I got the discs though from Cubase and Finale.
Replies
Is any of it downloadable by torrent or you have to pay for all of them?
